What can be done?
The goal of the Anawim was to get to see fist hand the injustices that members of our community face, engage with the people and the experience, and think/enact ways to solve to issues. We must aim for systemic change. One part that everyone can continue to execute is continuing to be educated and informed through interacting with one another, but that is not concrete a solution.

Specifically for the issues around education, sexism, economic opportunity, and racism, there needs to be more institutions and systems like Free To Bee that are dedicated to making not only good students and future adults, but good people, and providing equal access for all people. It is a human right to be treated with dignity and equality.

Getting involved in youth mentorship programs provide an alternate and achievable solution. It allows young people to get involved with their community all while mentoring young kids. Mentoring serves an important purpose in that it allows young children to be inspired and have a "big brother or sister" to spend time with. Often times, people/children who have mentors tends to imitate the best behaviors observed by their mentors. This behavior can be in education, sports, and interacting with others. Mentorship is a gateway to staying involved with community and contributing to the betterment and raising up of future generations.

An additional solution is continuing to lobby to local and state representatives about the injustice in the systems. By writing, you are voicing your opinion and provide suggestions for change. This actions not only allows people's opinions to be noted but it also fulfills people's duties helping the community through lifting up and helping others who cannot help themselves.
